Amy LarsonAmy Larson is a native Oregonian who has had an interest in health and fitness her entire adult life. She studied accounting at Oregon State University, worked in the field of public accounting and became a CPA before returning to her hometown Coos Bay, where she is a partner in her family’s business. For several years she focused on her career and raising a family but never lost her passion for being active and healthy, as well as studying different training methods. In 2007, she obtained her first kettlebell and fell in love with the simplicity of the training tool. As a busy working professional with two young sons, she could not believe how fun and effective it was to train with kettlebells. Amy became a Level I Certified Instructor in May 2014 and subsequently earned her level II SFG, SFL and SFB Certifications. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer through ACE and enjoys sharing her love of kettlebell and strength training with her community, as well as volunteering with local youth sports organizations and teams.
