Few sets of chins and pull ups of different grips later on.
Did some forward arm circles between sets 7&8, "pinched" something LHS shoulder, set 8 push pressed rep 5, set 9 pp reps 3-5, did 3x BW chins between sets 9&10, set 10 like new. Not sure what happened there.

Busy day with the kids, session after bedtime. Bit tight in the lumbar area today, so of course I skipped stretches and went to the shops instead. See how I feel tomorrow.
Sets of 6 are feeling good, last few reps are a difficult on last few sets. Feels like my "conditioning" for longer sets has come back fast.
No warm up, was planning on doing chins and then a session of the Giant after, but life got in the way. Pretty happy with the 5x5, chinup form is feeling really good, having the plate on my feet is helping with my hollow position too.
Next goal is going to be 5x5 tactical pullups @5kg, then chin ups @10kg I think. It's good to see progress without being super strict with the programming on these.
Didn't think I'd get more than 10 at the start of the day, but set 11 was the best one all day. Had a bit of a lull mid day/early arvo but came good later on. Not sure if I went too hard too early.
Managed my first free-standing HSPU as well, pretty happy with that, I'm not going to kid myself that it was perfect, but it's definite progress. Handstand balance is better too, just on the back of the constant practice I guess
