Barbell SQUAT BIG PLATES FOR REPS CHALLENGE - 2023

Just finished a 5x5 testing for a new cycle Monday. Zercher squated the following for sets of five, 215, 230, 245, 260, 275, 290. 290 is Week 5/5 goal. I'll be using a SSB squat as my specialized variety movement. Hopefully next year I will hit 4 plates on the Zercher Squat.

A couple days prior, I worked up to 330 or a single rep. I felt like I could have gone heavier a bit but played it conservative for another day.
 
I've been meaning to pull the trigger on this actually. It's Sunday, so it might as well be today. (November 9, 2025 is 700 days from today)
We had a family emergency here so things have been chaotic and I probably won't submit another entry.

I'm hoping to give the 100 weeks challenge a real go starting December 31st or January 1st - it'll be my new log "100 Weeks To A 500lb Squat".
