Barbell SQUAT BIG PLATES FOR REPS CHALLENGE - 2023

I’ve been wanting to do this again but I feel like I need to go unilateral for a while. Pistols only for my squats for a while but we have lots of 2023 left. I’ll make good on my pledge to make another run at 225 and now I have to do 135 again too thanks to captain America

405 for 1. Standard high bar below parallel.
Bit shaky, didn’t feel comfortable at all.
Only gave it a crack to see if I could. I can tell it’s an injury waiting to happen for me.
Don’t know until you try though.
Confident with a bit of consistency & patience I’ll get 10 with 315. That’ll be next goal.
 
This week I switched back to 5/3/1 since my last program was completed (with really good results body comp wise, but I didn't test well strength wise so I wanted a more pure strength program) and today was 5+ squat day. My last set I knocked out 225 x 12, so you can update me on the board, please.
