I tend to make the same mistake here I first noticed with the barbell squat - trying to get range of motion from turning out the knee instead of keeping the movement in the hips. Once corrected the lift felt phenomenal. The mobility work is helping.

This was a great training session. I did not know what to expect after the 5s x 3r squats yesterday, but I definitely had a better training session today than last Sunday. My swings were crisper, my get-ups were smoother, and my running stride was better.
