Keep moving

Whoooeeee, you really jumped up in snatch volume there! That program still scares me…
16 kg is easier if you used a heavier bell. Today I stopped at 30 sets, felt quite fresh as I have done more sets before. But also wanted to finish my run before the next (4th) storm (6 days of heavy winds in a row already) and rain started. (Was already raining and a strong wind).

I only ever tried with the 16k. It’s still daunting, i have a long road ahead of me on my snatch journey. Do you get 7 reps in the :15?

With the 16 kg I could do 8 reps but I keep at 7 reps (also when using the 18 or 20 kg). Just like it and I feel no need to rush as in thevend you still get many total reps. Max I have done was 60 reps, and that are 210 reps per side. So why push and rush and get sloppy.
 
I have also build up to this. Eg 6 sets (= 3 minutes) followed by a minute of rest or 6-10 sets followed by a 400 meter run . Than about a minute rest (open the trunk of the car to pick it out) and keep repeating. Eg if you do 10 rounds of 6 sets, you have 60 sets and a 4 km run.

So not always going forbthe total sets in one go. I do this once in a while. Just like to break itbup and total sets are still lots of work.

For today I had planned to start and finish with 20 sets and the run between, but changed plan when I started due to the weather.
 
This week went to the doctor to preventieve my my heart as when exercising my heartrate is always extremely high. It recovery also very quickly. But again everything is ok. Only have to check my blood to see if everything is ok too. Did this out of precaution, but always good to hear everything is fine.
Yesterday quite somevstorm over here, so this morning there were quite some fallen/ broken treescand branches in my "forest gym", but I could do my workout.

3 ROUNDS OF:
- 10 x ( :15 on/:15 off) kb snatch (16 kg kb)
- 2 x (4 minutes run - 1 minute walk)
FINISH WITH:
- 20 x ( :15 on/:15 off) kb snatch (16 kg kb)
Good :D
 
Kids have a week vacation, so only went for a run. Also gas proces are going sky high now due to the Ukranian war. 2.10 euro for 1 liter. So not taking the car forvsmall distance's (wonder if I keep that up as I like working out in the forest, where I train is 1 km from my house).

Anyway, today:
6 x (4 minutes run - 1 minute walk)

Total distance was 5.5 km. Was amazed by the speed and how smooth it went today.
