At least some of those supplement scams scammed people by putting actual effective drugs into their products!I view the entire supplements industry as mostly built on lies.
It's rife with absurd claims lacking medical evidence for efficacy and fake before and after photos.
The recent Turkesterone scandals being another example. And, hypocritically, a lot of those calling out the Liver King were themselves caught selling fake Turkesterone.
In a multi billion dollar supplement segment, was The Liver King lying worse than many of the others?
Anyone else remember the original Jack3d with the 1,3diamethanphetaminewhateveritwas? A scoop of that legitimately put 15lbs on your bench and was like riding lighting. Then people started having heart attacks in their 20s because of the meth. Ruined the whole thing.
