Chronicles of Becoming a Man

That's literally my same goal. the 40 just stares at me. only allowing partial get ups and 2HSW
I can press it in the right but not the left. Itself a little infuriating. I’m working in 1hs right now with it as well. I found that if i use a deeper grip than i normally would i can mange the 1hs much better.

I skipped the 1HSW today. Yesterday we had round of 18 holes of golf for Father's Day. While there was no muscle soreness or anything of that nature, my body was simply tired today.

I got in to jam bands when I was in college. The long, drawn out improvisational jams really helped me concentrate to study. The same this with training. I find it very meditative. I never really fit in with the whole crowd because I don't use illicit substances. On the flip side, I've always been a book nerd and would always get classified as a pot head because I listened to that music...

My friends and I were very into jam bands - especially Phish - back in high school and college (this was 20 years ago, I’m 42 now). I stopped listening to that kind of music for years but have recently rediscovered it. I mostly train in silence but when I do listen to music it’s often jam bands (Phish and Dead and Company lately).
