Skipped a rest day to play catch up. Also supposed to be using doubles for some things so less stress overall. Back to doubles sunday and almost back on schedule.
 
Wife keeps nagging me that i haven't been running enough. We hit up a forest preserve and some single tracks for around 6 miles of running. While I am not in great running form, I am extremely happy with how my gpp has carried over. Wife wants to do a running streak for January as well, at least one mile a day.

Drove up to Milwaukee area (through the snow) for a strongfirst workshop with Ryan Toshner. Was a little remedial for me but walked away with a few good tweaks. Finally got my hands on a beast as well! Was able to do a getup on the right side but not the left. Maybe could have but didnt want to push it. I’ll come back stronger next time!

Finally got my hands on a beast as well! Was able to do a getup on the right side but not the left
Awesome!
Never was able to hoist the beast in a getup, 44k was good on the left, but the right shoulder wouldn't do it. Likely I will never go that heavy again..

I give credit to my bigger frame. I have more respect for smaller guys that work up to it. TBH it was almost disappointing how easy it was to put up. But then I was immediately humbled on the left, lol.

Some swings with the 40k. Weather made me wuss out and swing inside (-10F). 10 mins of 4 1hs every :30 alternating L/R. Last 5 min were 2hs every :30.

Started subbing for my kids school where I eventually want to be permanently.
Also the first game of our bball tournament. Girls have been playing really well, my daughter even stepped up a bit when two of our best were fouled out.

Capped the day off with a soccer game for my son.

B2 snatch (12-15r) bumping up to 24k was definitely tougher. Glad I made the call at the beginning to so this with the 20k.

Naaa man, I wish! Sorry, i copied this from the ICT thread so it makes sense to them. I only did 5 rounds of around 15 reps, which was immediately preceded by 5 front squats.
This was the B segment of the workout. A segment was 5 presses followed by 26-30 1hs.

Ha yep, it would be pretty studly to just walk up and do 12 sets in a shortish time window.

Did a jumprope/BW workout with one of my 8th grade girl bball players while we watched the littles. Both her parents were D1 athletes and are training her like she is going to be the next (first?) WNBA star
