Kettlebell Best All-Around Training Method Ever

Pavel published a great article/program for A+A using C&J. I have two full weeks under my belt and started week 3 today. The early results have been noticeable, especially in strength and fat reduction. The one thing I really have enjoyed running a session and then doing some mobility work afterward. My Cossack squats feel really strong and my knees enjoy all of it.

I have to say, this might be my favorite version of A+A. Yes, the snatch is a lot of fun, but doing a C&J every 30 seconds seems to give me a lot more without taking as much out of me. I'm sure there are variables at play between my snatch and my C&J, and that's probably because I have spent more time with the C&J. My snatch form isn't shabby, but my C&J definitely has been dialed in more. Chances are I have pushed too hard with the snatch in the past as well while doing A+A.

This seems to be the best program for me while I wait for the mountain bike trails to dry up here in Missouri. I usually will hit one of the jogger trails (cement and gravel) on my bike every couple weeks when the weather allows, but I noticed a boost to my endurance over this past weekend. I did a gentle six-mile climb (not too severe a grade) that had previously left me stopping to shake out the limbs a couple times. This time I made it all the way without stopping. It had been about two weeks since I had attempted it. The tightness in my thighs that usually accompanies that type of effort seemed less so as well.

Is anyone else giving this program a shot? Any surprises or reasons to smile about the results?

We have a long running discussion here:

Thanks, didn't see it.
