Perhaps I did not have a sufficient warm up. The 36kg was a solid 1RM for me at the beginning of the program, but I could barely get the damn thing overhead.

Well, this classifies as WTH?!? I have not done S&S in 2 full calendar years, and I was able to complete Timeless Simple. In fact, my weakest point in the get up have always been roll to elbow and 1/2 kneel to stand. Today, I had no problem with either and everything felt stable and strong. WTH indeed.
