Excellent practice. I focused on keeping the torso up/back ramped straighter when breaking the bell off the ground - wedging into the bell like a deadlift. I seem to have lost a bit of flexibility in my mid back, which might be contributing to the chronic tightness, as this was not hard to do but it did require concentration.

Mace work was excellent. I’m getting more comfortable with the implement being in front of my face now, so I can pull it in closer to me without worrying about my nose. That’s been a hang-up for a while. I'm able to move it around faster and smoother.

Knee is 99.5%, mid back is 95%.

Ahhh! The good ole one hand swing! I forgot how delicious this exercise is. You get the resist-the-twist one-sided loading of the snatch, but get to hold the plank longer while doing so. Or at least it seems as if the time under tension is longer. And the lat contraction - so tasty! The first couple sets with each hand were amateurish - I kept trying to pop the bell up instead of projecting it forward. I haven't done a one hand swing since June 2019.

I very much like walking in the morning after a Buteyko session. I miss the gorgeous Texas hot evening sun, but the morning walk after the breathing practice is massively centering.

HR on the fasted walk tapped 120 in the heat and hunger. Stayed around 115 the last 15 minutes or so...I was really hungry by the end but still had two more hours to fast.
