profilephoto01-001370000076U8sAAEDebbie is certified as a StrongFirst Level 1 & 2 Kettlebell Instructor, a Bodyweight Instructor, and a Barbell Instructor. She is certified by Functional Movement Systems to do FMS screenings to help her students identify and improve movement dysfunction. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM. Having suffered from a herniated disc in 2015, Debbie used this injury to restore and improve reflexive strength and stability and can help her students to do the same. She completed the Iron Maiden Challenge, a strict pull-up, pistol and strict press with a 24kg kettlebell, in August 2016. She has also achieved “Sinister” status from Pavel’s “Simple and Sinister” book and training program. She utilizes elements from each of the StrongFirst training modalities for individualized results for each of her students. Debbie offers small group and individual personal training sessions and distance/online programming.

In a few short weeks, Debbie has improved my life dramatically. I have small children and want to be able to play with them, but a few weeks ago I couldn't even lie flat on my back in the floor and lay my head down flat! I thought my neck was messed up permanently from my desk job. However, in just two weeks I can lay my head down flat with no problems! That's just one example of the benefit I've seen so far. My kids certainly approve!

She also corrected several issues with my swing and getup form that made an immediate difference in my ability to perform the exercises more efficiently and powerfully (and safely).

If you're going to work with kettlebells, you really should see an SFG. And if you are in her area, I highly recommend Debbie! Super friendly, flexible, and knowledgeable. Trust me, it's worth it.

I have only had one 1hr session with Mrs. Debbie and it was the smartest thing I could have done! The little things she showed me like how an when to keep certain parts of my body tight dramatically increased my strength. I couldn't even press a 24kg bell before seeing her, two months down the road I can press it multiple times! I heard sfg community was the best and she without a doubt proved it!
