Marty Bishop lives in the metro Washington, D.C. area where he serves as a U.S. Army bandsman and a professional musician. He holds advanced music degrees from the University of Memphis (BME) and the University of North Texas (MM and DMA). He is a husband and a father to three beautiful children. He became a fitness enthusiast and kettlebell practitioner at the age of 33 in order to care for his severely disabled daughter. He aspires to one day become a StrongFirst Certified SFG I Instructor and serve his colleagues as a strength professional.
