Jeremy Layport was introduced to hardstyle kettlebell training in 2005 and took his first kettlebell certification in 2006. Pavel’s hardstyle methodology and philosophy instantly hooked a young, impressionable college strength and conditioning coach. Throughout Jeremy’s 14+ years as a coach, he has taught and utilized StrongFirst concepts with his athletes, as well as introduced many athletes to kettlebell ballistics and grinds. Out of the college realm now, Jeremy works as owner and operator of his own small group training business, Physical Culture, in Paso Robles, California. He works with many levels of athletes within all StrongFirst modalities. Jeremy was promoted to StrongFirst Certified Master Instructor in 2019. Jeremy’s athletic background includes college football, Olympic lifting, and powerlifting. He was the third person to successfully achieve the title of StrongFirst “Beast Tamer.”
